What we collect, what we don't sell, and what a free account gets you.
What a free account gets you
Creating a free account on Wolliz is optional — you can search and browse listings without one. But an account gives you:
- Permanent favorites — saved homes that persist across devices and sessions, not just in your current browser.
- Saved searches with email alerts — get notified when new listings match your criteria.
- Your search history — quickly return to searches you've run before.
Creating an account requires a name, email address, and password. No credit card. No phone number. No subscription.
What we collect and what we don't do with it
The homepage makes three promises. Here is what each one means in practice.
Listing results are ranked by relevance to your search — not by who paid more for exposure. No agent can pay to appear higher in results.
When you submit an inquiry on a listing or click Inquire on an agent's profile, the agent doesn't pay us anything for that connection. This matters because it removes the incentive to sell your contact information to whoever is willing to pay the most for it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, advertising networks, or other agents. If you submit an inquiry to an agent, your contact information goes to that agent and no one else. We don't have a data monetization business on the side.
What we actually collect
If you browse without an account
We collect standard web server logs — IP address, pages visited, browser type, referrer. This is what every website collects. We use it for site analytics and security. It is not linked to your identity.
If you create an account
We store your name, email address, and a hashed (unreadable) version of your password. We also store your saved favorites, saved searches, and alert preferences. This information is used only to provide you with these features.
If you submit an inquiry
Your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), and message are shared with the agent you contacted. That agent may follow up with you about the property. Your information is not shared with other agents, platforms, or advertisers.
What we don't collect
We don't track you across other websites. We don't use advertising pixels. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't sell behavioral data.
Text messages from agents
If an agent contacts you by text message after you submit an inquiry, that communication is coming from the agent — not from Wolliz. You can opt out of text messages from an agent at any time by replying STOP. Opt-out requests are enforced by the platform automatically.
Wolliz does not send you unsolicited text messages. If you receive a text from us, it's either an account-related message (e.g., email verification) or something you explicitly opted into.
