Email Alerts

Save a search and get notified the moment a new listing matches — without checking the site every day.

How alerts work

When you save a search, the platform watches for new listings that match your saved filters. When one is published, you receive an email alert with the listing details, a photo, and a link to view it on the site.

Alerts are sent per listing — if three new properties that match your search come on the market in one day, you'll receive three emails. This is by design: in a fast-moving market, a delay in bundling alerts could mean you miss a property the same day it goes live.

Alerts only fire for new listings. Price changes or status updates on existing listings do not trigger alerts in the current version.

Saving a search to enable alerts

  1. Go to Search and set your filters — city, price range, beds, baths, property type, or a text query.
  2. When you see results you like, click Save this search above the results.
  3. Give your search a name (e.g., Downtown 3BR under $450K) — this is how it appears in your saved searches list.
  4. Alerts are turned on by default when you save. You'll receive your first alert the next time a matching listing is published.

You must be logged in to save a search. If you haven't created an account yet, you'll be prompted to register — it's free and takes less than a minute. See Getting Started.

Managing your alerts

Go to Saved Searches in your account to see all your saved searches. For each one you can:

  • View — re-run the search with the original filters to see current results.
  • Delete — permanently remove the saved search and stop its alerts.

If you want to pause alerts for a specific search without deleting it, the fastest way is to use the one-click unsubscribe link in any alert email you've received for that search.

Unsubscribing from a specific search

Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it turns off alerts for that specific saved search only — it does not delete the search, and it does not affect alerts from other saved searches. You'll see a confirmation page when it's done.

You can re-enable alerts for that search by managing it in your Saved Searches page.

Stopping all alerts

Delete all your saved searches from the Saved Searches page to stop receiving any alert emails.

Tips for useful alerts

  • Name your searches clearly. When you get an alert email, the subject line includes the search name. "Downtown 3BR under $450K" tells you immediately which of your searches it matched.
  • Save multiple searches for different scenarios. A primary target area and a backup neighborhood, or two different price ranges. Each can have alerts on independently.
  • Narrow your criteria for high-signal alerts. A very broad search generates frequent alerts. If you're getting too many, add a filter — a minimum price, a specific city, or a bedroom count — to bring the volume down.
